Description
Daintry Hall Preparatory School is a village hall that has been converted into a school, dated on the datestone to 1835. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. It features a central projecting hall with a porch on the right and an extension on the left.
On the south front, the central hall has three windows, each with three arched lights and Tudor hood moulds. The porch to the right contains a studded door and a hood mould with the datestone above it. The building has decorated bargeboards, and the south wing showcases an overhanging wooden frieze at the eaves. The left wing includes one gabled window, while the left gable end features a four-light window with wooden mullions, a transom, and a hood mould, along with a porthole window in the gable. The right gable end has a three-light window with arched lights and a hood mould. Additionally, there is a stone bell-cote to the right of the hall, which has arched openings and a pitched roof.
