Description
22 Front Street is a Grade II listed building that also includes No 47 Church Street. This is a large and varied structure featuring a 17th-century "black and white" timber frame along with painted brick and cement, which has undergone 19th-century restoration and some later alterations. The building stands two storeys high and has two gables and three gabled dormers. The windows are restored casements, and there is an added porch and bay to No 47. The doorway of No 22 features a ledged door and a gabled porch supported by wooden columns, likely from the 18th century, while No 47 has a modern doorway. The roof has been restored with tiles.
