Nos 49 and 51 on High Street are small brick houses dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. They feature various casement windows and early 19th-century shop fronts with modern glazing, as well as part glazed doors in plain doorways. The buildings have toothed and plain eaves, gabled ends, and old tiles. Both houses are two storeys tall, with No 51 also having a shallow attic and some original leaded lights.
