Description

No. 45 High Street is a building of late 16th or 17th century origin, though it has been significantly altered over time. It features modern cement rendering and stands two storeys tall. The facade includes three 19th century casement windows and has plain gables. The left-hand bay, which has two windows, has a ground storey that has been raised above the terrace and includes two modern bow shop windows and a doorway beneath a modern canopy. The right-hand bay features a large angular bay shop window and is tiled. Inside, some exposed ceiling beams can still be seen on the ground storey.
