Description

The building at 38 High Street dates to the 18th century, although it has been significantly altered since its original construction. The exterior is now finished with roughcast rendering. It is two storeys high and features two modern oriel windows, a single casement window with glazing bars, and a restored gabled dormer, all tiled. A plain 19th-century doorway is located on the right-hand side. Two late 19th-century shop fronts are also present. The building is included on the listing for its contribution to the wider group value of the area.
