Description
The Textile Museum is a Grade II listed building located on Exchange Street. It is a Victorian structure designed in a palazzo style and consists of three storeys. The ground floor features a Regency style with a doorway and flanking lights set in a wide segmental arch that includes a fanlight, along with a large bow window. The first floor is adorned with three round-arched sash windows that have radiating glazing bars, brick arches, and stone imposts with dentils. Above the first floor, there is a cornice with dentils. The top floor contains three smaller round-arched sash windows, and the top cornice projects deeply on paired brackets. Additionally, there are small iron balconies attached to the first-floor windows.
