Description

The Town Hall, built in 1852 by Patterson, is a large rectangular stone building that has been joined to a new annexe. The ground floor features rusticated stonework, while the first floor is adorned with a modillioned eaves cornice and round-arched Italianate windows. Above the attic storey, there is a pierced balustrade. The building has quoins and Corinthian columns on the first floor at the front. The end three bays project slightly and include balustraded balconies.
