Description
Little Billinge Scar is an 18th-century barn attached to the house of the same name. It is constructed from lime-washed stone rubble and features a slate roof supported by eaves on stone brackets. The barn has two low storeys and includes three 16-paned sash windows on each floor. There is a boarded door set within a stone doorcase that has Tuscan pilasters and a cornice, along with a moulded square panel above, which is currently blank. To the west, there is a taller stone barn and shippons that have quoins, a slate roof, and a chimney on the east end, which serves a wing of the house that extends to the rear at a right angle.
