Description
The Vicarage of Saint Nicholas is a building dating from around 1882. It is constructed from snecked ashlar with quoins and a plinth, topped with a roof of Welsh slate. The structure features a twin range with two wings that create five gables, while the kitchen wing has one storey. Each gabled bay consists of two storeys.
The main entrance, which faces south at the angle with the wing, includes a six-panelled door set within an elliptical-headed fanlight and a glass and wood surround. To the left of the door, there is an eight-pane sash window, with a blank wall above it, and another sash window with glazing bars located above the door. The return gable has two eight-pane sashes at both the ground and first floors. The roof is adorned with barge boards and has a slight sweep at the eaves, featuring one central and one rear gable stone chimney. The kitchen wing has a hipped roof.
