Description

This is a late 18th-century house, now divided into two separate dwellings, situated on the south side of Front Street in Boldon, near Whitburn. The house is double pile and has a pantiled roof. The exterior is rendered. Number 46 features tripartite sash windows on both the ground and first floors, with projecting sills. A 6-panelled door is located at the west end, accompanied by a 3-pane oblong fanlight. Number 46A has a sash window on the first floor at the east end, and a door at the west end with a design of 3 over 3 vertical panels and a 3-pane oblong fanlight.
