Description
St. Leonard's Hospital remains are located in Northumberland Park, approximately 15 metres east and 32 metres south of Park Lodge. The site features a medieval sandstone grave slab that has matrices for one male and one female figure, along with five smaller figures at their feet, the central one being female. There are also two stone coffins positioned to the north and south of the slab. A modern iron railing surrounds the grave slab. This information is sourced from H.E. Craster's "History of Northumberland," volume VIII, published in 1907.
