Description
Nos. 2 to 8 Grey Street is an early 19th-century classical building constructed from sandstone ashlar with a hipped Welsh slate roof. It is situated on a corner, featuring a recessed, rounded corner bay. The building stands three and a half storeys tall, with four bays facing Grey Street and one wide bay on Mosley Street. The sash windows have moulded architraves, with a tripartite arrangement on Mosley Street. The second-floor sills project and are supported by long brackets. The southern bay slightly projects and includes a pedimented window on the first floor. The building is topped with a moulded and coved eaves cornice and has 19th-century shop fronts.
