Description

Nos. 3 and 5 Mosley Street is a house and shop built around 1790, which was refronted in a mid-18th century style during the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings on the front and has a Westmorland slate roof. It stands three storeys tall with an attic. The first and second floors feature two bays with single quoins and sash windows set in architraves. The first-floor windows are adorned with triple keystones and pediments. There is a modillion eaves cornice. The shopfront, dating from the early 20th century, includes enriched brackets. At the rear, there are twelve-pane sash windows.
