Description
The Fairless Harrison tomb, located about 100 metres east of the Jesmond Cemetery gateway, is a Grade II listed headstone dating from around 1906. It commemorates members of the Harrison family and is designed in the Art Nouveau style. The tomb features a tall square column set on a plinth, with tree-like corner shafts that extend into brackets resembling swelling foliage, which support a cornice. The materials used include granite and bronze.
