Description
The Bridge Medical Centre is a toll house that was later used as a Coroner's Court and is now an office building. It was constructed around 1870 and is made of sandstone ashlar with a plinth, topped by a Welsh slate roof. The building is two stories high and has three bays. There are two steps leading up to a four-panelled door, which features an overlight set within a segmental-headed surround that includes pilasters and voussoirs. The flanking sash windows have keyed round-headed raised surrounds and bracketed sills, while three additional sashes are located above in plain reveals, all featuring late 19th-century glazing. The ends of the building are accentuated by pilasters with channelled rustication, and it is finished with a cornice and blocking course.
