Description
Conrad House and Western House are two houses, now functioning as a hospital, built around 1845. They are constructed of brick with painted dressings and feature a Welsh slate roof. The buildings are two storeys tall and consist of five, three, three, and five bays, with the outer houses projecting slightly. Each house has a four-panelled door with a fanlight, centrally located in the outer houses and paired in the two inner houses, all set within arched surrounds in tall Tuscan doorcases. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are adorned with architraves and aprons. The cornice is supported by carved brackets, and there is a high parapet. Additionally, there are four low ashlar ridge chimneys.
