Description
A row of ten houses, now offices, was built before 1830. The construction is primarily English bond brick, with a painted rendered plinth up to number 11. Numbers 13 to 17 have a rubble and ashlar basement. The houses feature painted ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roofs. Each house is three storeys high, with basements to numbers 13 to 17, and presents two bays, except for number 8, which has a single, wider window on the ground floor. Each house has a door on the right-hand side, featuring 6 or 8 panels, some of which have been renewed, with an overlight in deep reveals; these are set within flat Tuscan doorcases with prominent cornices. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath wedge stone lintels. Projecting stone sills are visible on the second floor, with sill bands on the ground and first floors. A decorative eaves band and gutter cornice are present, alongside banded brick ridge chimneys.
