Description

Nos. 17 and 19 St Thomas' Street are a pair of houses dating to approximately 1842, and restored around 1982. They are constructed of English garden wall bond brick with ashlar dressings, and have Welsh slate roofs. The buildings have a basement and two storeys, with three bays to No. 17 and a central arch and four windows to No. 19. Steps lead to six-panelled doors with overlights, recessed within architraves at the centre of each house. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, with wedge stone lintels and sill aprons. First floor and eaves bands are present, and the round vehicle arch has voussoirs. Brick ridge chimneys are visible, one with an ashlar cornice.
