Description
Stella Hall Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with quoins and features a Welsh slate roof with sloped stone gable copings. The building has two storeys and three windows. The front door has an oblong fanlight above it, consisting of three vertical panels, and is set under a pecked stone lintel. The sash windows include glazing bars, pecked stone lintels, and projecting stone sills. The low-pitched roof is topped with two corniced ashlar end chimneys. Inside, the doors have a similar design to the front door, and there are shutters on the splayed windows. The lintel of the garden door is dated 1792. Historically, this cottage served as the gardener's residence for Stella Hall, which has since been demolished.
