Description
The Salte Well, located to the south of the entrance gates to Saltwell Park, was reconstructed in 1872 as a drinking fountain. It features a gable-shaped back with a shield that displays the date, flanked by piers topped with pyramidal caps. The structure is made of coursed squared stone. In the central alcove, there is a basin, although the tap has been removed, and a pious text is inscribed above it.
