Description

No. 2 Church Road is an 18th-century cottage built of local pinkish brick, featuring a pantiled roof and two end chimneys. The cottage has wide proportions and stands two storeys high with two windows, which are sashes with glazing bars set in wooden architraves beneath stuccoed lintels. The entrance consists of a boarded door topped by a low oblong fanlight. There is a stepped eaves cornice, and the south-east angle of the wall is cut away and corbelled out near ground level.
