Description
The Ship Inn is a late 17th century or early 18th century building that has undergone alterations and additions. It features roughcast over brick, with a string outline visible at the first floor and at the former eaves level, as the roof has been raised. The building is two storeys high and has three irregularly placed windows. The sash windows on the first floor have glazing bars and are four panes wide. At the rear, there is a lower two-storey wing with modern casements. The early 19th century right wing has a Welsh slate roof and later 19th century casements. The end chimneys have been renewed and the roof is covered in modern ridged concrete tiles.
