Description
Manor Farmhouse is an early 18th century building that was likely once a farmhouse and cottage. It features some rubble masonry, while the rest of the structure is made of painted brick. The house has a high pitched pantiled roof with old brick chimneys located at the party wall and at the ends. The windows on the ground floor are 19th century sashes with stone cills, positioned under gauged brick arches. The building is two storeys high with three windows. There is a taller two-bay extension on the right side, built in the 19th century with a slate roof. The older part of the house has stone coped gable ends with kneelers and a stepped brick eaves cornice. At the rear, there is a lean-to that is either original or nearly so.
