Description

Holme Farmhouse is an 18th-century building with 19th-century alterations located in Carlton the Village. It is constructed of pinkish brick featuring a pattern of blue-black headers. The farmhouse has a swept pantiled roof with chimneys at both ends and along the ridge. This long, two-storey structure has four windows, with an additional bay on the right that matches the original design. The later 19th-century sash windows have stuccoed lintels and stone sills, and there is one modern glazed door alongside a traditional four-panel door.
