Description

The United Reformed Church of St Andrew and St George, originally a Presbyterian Church of England, was built in 1876. It features small rubble construction and a slate roof with a crested ridge, designed in the Decorated Gothic style. The church has a three-bay aisled nave and a transept at the north end, which includes a presbytery. At the southeast corner, there is a two-stage tower topped with an ashlar steeple. The side windows have course tracery, while the large south window is decorated. Above the south doorway, there is a gable with two orders and porphyry nook shafts.
