Description

The barn located to the north of Newsham Hall is a late 18th century or early 19th century structure built of red brick. It features a slated roof with stone gable copings and kneelers. The building has gauged brick arches and stone cills above six boarded openings on the first floor. Below, there are three wagon entrances that are topped with elliptical gauged brick arches, each with keystones. On the east gable, there is a loading door situated above a stable door, which is supported by a lintel beam.
