Description

This is a row of four late 18th-century buildings on the east side of High Street, Yarm. The buildings are constructed of local brick with a Welsh slate roof, and have ridge and right-end chimneys. Each building is two storeys high with two windows on each level. They feature sash windows, some with replaced glazing bars. Number 2 has a six-panel door with a patterned oblong fanlight, while the other buildings have modern glazed doors, all set in fluted wooden surrounds. The buildings are included in the listing partly due to their contribution to the wider group value of the street.
