Description

This former school, built in the mid-19th century, is designed in a utilitarian Gothic style. It is a single-storey building with three bays on each side of a central gable at the west end. The structure is made of painted brick, featuring a brick eaves cornice, stone coping, and set-offs on the buttresses that separate the bays, which extend above the eaves line. The roof is covered with slate, incorporating some fish-scale courses. The building has mullion and transom windows, which are now blocked, and the central window in the west gable has plate tracery. Currently, the building functions as a warehouse and has modern extensions added to the north and south.
