Description
Grove Farmhouse is an 18th-century building with later additions. It is constructed of local pinkish brick and features a brick dentil cornice. The roof is slightly swept and covered with pantiles, and the gable ends are stone-coped. The farmhouse has two storeys and includes two windows, along with a pent extension to the west. There is a 19th-century cottage addition at the back, made of factory brick and consisting of one bay. The building has end and party chimneys, stone cills, and 19th-century chamfered and moulded lintels above the restored sash windows, which have glazing bars. The central front door is modern and lacks a hood, while the extension has a window that has been converted into a door.
