Description
West Worsall Farmhouse is a late 17th century or early 18th century building constructed of pinkish local narrow brick in English bond, featuring tumbled brickwork in the gables. It has a stepped and dentilled brick eaves cornice and a high-pitched swept pantiled roof with brick copings and kneelers, along with centre and end chimneys. The front of the farmhouse is rendered, and it is two storeys high with two narrow bays and two wide bays, including a first-floor band on the wider section. The left part of the building was formerly a granary. It has modern plain casements on the left and Yorkshire sash windows on the right, along with a modern door. Small Yorkshire sashes are located behind the modern features. At the rear, there is a lean-to that has been raised in modern brick with a flat roof, and a lower east extension built in the same style and materials, featuring slit vents on the rear wall.
