Description

Saw Mill House is a house from the early to mid-19th century, constructed of dressed sandstone with tooled margins and featuring a concrete tiled roof added in the mid to late 20th century. The building has two storeys and two bays. The central entrance is a chamfered Tudor-arched doorway that holds a six-panelled door and an overlight, all beneath a hoodmould with a moulded geometric-pattern finial. There are paired renewed sashes in Tudor-arched openings, each pair set within a raised chamfered surround and also under a hoodmould. The roof is shallow-pitched and hipped, with corniced end stacks.
