Description

West Terrace is a terrace of three cottages, dating from the early 19th century, with the possibility of earlier construction at the rear. The cottages are built of dressed sandstone, with random sandstone rubble on the rear wall and the right return. They feature a Welsh slate roof, complete with a stone ridge, gable copings, and moulded kneelers. The ridge and end stacks are rebuilt in brick. The terrace is two storeys high and has three windows. There are paired doorways for Nos 3 and 4, and a doorway to the left for No 5; all doorways have four-panelled doors with overlights. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, although the windows in No 5 have been renewed. The stone sills are painted, and the rear of the cottages displays horizontal sash windows.
