Description

This is a house, built around 1700 and altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed sandstone with a Welsh slate roof. The building has stone gable copings, a moulded kneeler, and a rebuilt brick stack at the right end. It is two storeys high, featuring two windows in openings dating to the early 19th century. Remains of the original layout include a blocked off-centre doorway and a blocked first-floor window. An off-centre doorway (on the right side) has a four-panelled door and a mid-20th-century wooden porch. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. Group value is present due to the building's contribution to the wider historic area.
