Description
Number 19 is a cottage dating from around 1680, constructed of dressed sandstone that is rendered and scored. It features a mid-20th century concrete tiled roof with stone gable copings and has a stack on the left-hand side. The building is two storeys high. On the ground floor, from left to right, there is a mid-20th century casement window in its original opening, a four-panelled door, and a cart passage with vertically boarded doors. The first floor has two Yorkshire sash windows. The listing also includes a large rectangular single-storey wing that adjoins the rear elevation, which dates from the late 18th century and is made of dressed sandstone with a clay pantile roof.
