Description

The boundary wall, located 100 meters to the west of the ruins of St. Mary's Priory, dates from the late 17th century. It serves to screen properties on Bow Street, Market Place, and Church Street from Priory Gardens and the priory ruins. The northern side of the wall is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble, while the western side features 18th-century brick with a flat stone coping. This wall is included for its group value with St. Mary's Priory ruins and the Priory Dovecote on Church Street.
