Description
Dunsdale Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century, is constructed of dressed sandstone and features a mid-20th century concrete tiled roof with stone gable copings. The building has two storeys and three bays, with sash windows that include glazing bars, stone sills, and keystones. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with a blocked rectangular fanlight above and a keystone. The farmhouse is accented by rusticated quoins and has a tall round-headed staircase window on the rear (east) elevation, which is also a sash window with glazing bars and a hood-mould.
Adjoining the farmhouse are lower two-storey wings to the left and right (north and south), built with matching materials and each consisting of one bay. Most window openings in these wings are blocked, except for the ground floor of the south wing, which retains a sash window. The north wing features an external stone staircase on the rear (east side) with a dog kennel located below it.
