Description

This is an early to mid-18th century brick cottage, likely rebuilt at some point. It has a rendered brick exterior. The left end of the cottage has a rebuilt chimney stack, and the roof is covered with clay pantiles and has a concrete coping on the left gable. The cottage is one and a half storeys high and has one window facing the road. The front door, located on the right, has been renewed. A window on the left has also been renewed with late 20th-century casement windows. There are two dormers with late 20th-century casement windows on the roof. A rear extension is not considered to be of special architectural interest. The building is included on the register for its contribution to the wider group value of buildings in the area.
