Description

Dunsdale Lodge is a house dating to around 1810, originally built as a keeper’s lodge. The building is constructed from dressed sandstone and has a Welsh slate roof, with a central stone chimney stack. It is a single-story building with three bays, the central bay featuring a gabled projection. This projection contains a pointed-arched doorway with a six-panelled door, and a semi-circular-headed lancet window in the gable. The other windows are casements with timber mullions, transoms, and hood moulds. Extensions to the south and west sides, added in the mid-20th century, are not considered to be of architectural interest.
