Description
The covered fold yard, located 110 meters southeast of Foxdale Farmhouse, is an animal shelter dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from random sandstone rubble and features hipped roofs made of Welsh slate and mid-20th century asbestos sheets. The building is single storey and has a rectangular plan, forming a wall that encloses a covered yard. The roofs were partly reconstructed in the mid-20th century. The nearby mid-20th century farm outbuildings between this structure and Foxdale Farm Cottage are not of interest. This building is included for its group value with other farm outbuildings located 25 meters, 75 meters, and approximately 90 meters southeast of Foxdale Farmhouse, which are also not of interest.
