Description

The carriage house, located approximately 30 yards east of Halton Castle, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble and features a Welsh slate roof. The building is single storey and consists of six bays, which are separated by square tapering stone piers that have hollow-chamfered capitals. The roof is a lean-to design with flat coping.
