Description
The former kennel block, located 60 meters north of Newbrough Lodge, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with quoins and features a hipped stone slate roof topped with a central slated spirelet and a weather vane. The building is a single tall storey with three bays. The front elevation includes a central part-glazed door with a 12-pane casement window above it. To the left is a former door opening that has been converted into a later window, while to the right is a boarded door with a 12-pane casement above. There is a short rear wing on the right side, and the right elevation displays one 16-pane casement window.
