Description
This is a barn located 10 metres north-west of Beacon Rigg Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with tooled and margined quoins and features stone dressings and a stone slate roof. The barn has three bays, with the central bay being canted and having an elliptical-headed cart entrance that includes an impost band. The left bay contains upper and lower ventilation loops, while the right bay is obscured by a later shed that is not of interest.
