Description

This is a chimney from the former Langley lead smelting mill, dating to the early 19th century. The chimney is constructed of squared and tooled stone up to the mid-height, with brick above. It has a circular shape and stands on a plinth. The flue features a round-headed arch, which is capped by a bold roll moulding. The shaft tapers and has an additional stone roll moulding at the mid-height of the upper brick section.
