Description

The garden walls and piers located to the south of Walwick Grange are from the 18th century and are constructed from brick and stone. The brick walls include the rear wall of a stable block, which features stone quoins and coped gables with kneelers. Closest to the house, there is a low screen wall made of rubble that has raised coping and supports six piers made of squared stone. These piers have stepped and moulded caps, along with various finials. The piers that flank the entrance to the gardens are designed with attached jambs that have scrolled tops.
