Description
Hemscott Hill Farmhouse is a house built around 1840. It is constructed of squared stone with cut quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, arranged symmetrically. The central entrance features a six-panel door beneath a patterned overlight, while the windows are 16-pane sashes with slightly projecting sills. The gables are coped, and there are rebuilt brick stacks at each end. On the right side, there is a two-bay rear wing that has similar window styles. Set back to the right, there is a tall embattled wall that backs a single-storey extension of the wing.
