Description

The outbuildings, garden wall, and gate piers located to the west of Deepleigh Residential Home are from the 18th century and were part of a former vicarage. They are constructed from roughly-squared stone, while the gate piers are made from tooled-and-margined stone. The southern outbuilding features an old pantile roof, whereas the northern outbuilding has a roof covered with 20th-century tiles.

On the east elevation, the earlier northern building has an old boarded door with an 8-pane Yorkshire sash window above it. The right side of this building shows a blocked 3-light loft window with wooden mullions. The lower southern building has boarded double doors with a 12-pane Yorkshire sash window to the left. Both buildings are topped with reverse-stepped gable copings.

At the southern end of the buildings, a short wall with a boarded door connects to Deepleigh to the east, and a second wall extends south to the gate piers. These gate piers have chamfered plinths, attached jambs, moulded cornices, blocking courses, and ball finials on swept bases. The wall to the south of the piers is not of special interest.
