Description

Glebe House and an attached outbuilding date back to the 18th century, with alterations and remodelling occurring in 1845. The date is marked with the initials T.R.S. on the lintel. The house is constructed of tooled stone with tooled-and-margined dressings, while the rear elevation and outbuilding are of coursed rubble. The roof is covered in Welsh slate, and the stacks have been rebuilt using yellow brick. The house is two storeys high with a three-bay design, exhibiting slight irregularity. The front features a centrally positioned renewed door with an overlight, and 16-pane sash windows within chamfered surrounds. Coped gables and end stacks, rebuilt on older bases, are also present. The single-storey outbuilding on the left incorporates a stable door within a chamfered, tooled-and-margined stone surround, along with slit vents. The outbuilding's roof is hipped to the left.
