Description

Haughton House is an early 19th-century house constructed of rubble with tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and features three symmetrical bays. The central entrance consists of a flush-panelled door with a three-pane overlight above it. The windows are 12-pane sash types with slightly projecting sills. The house has coped gables and stepped-and-corniced stacks at the ends. There are attached outbuildings at the rear, but they are not of special interest.
