GREENHEAD A 69(T) NY 66 SE (North side, off) 15/67 Balustraded garden wall and flight of steps, 35 metres south-east of Blenkinsopp Hall GV II

Garden wall and flight of steps. Late C19. Ashlar. 60-metre long wall interrupted by central flight of steps. 2.0-metre tall, snecked stone retaining wall with balustrade above band. Regularly-spaced piers break forward: ashlar piers on retaining wall; piers with chamfered rustication on balustrade. Taller piers at ends and flanking steps, also with chamfered rustication. Straight flight of 13 steps with identical raking balustrades and rusticated piers. Included for group value.
