Description

Byres attached to the west of West Fenwick Farmhouse date from the 18th century and early 19th century. They are constructed of dressed stone and feature pantiled and Welsh slate roofs. The building is single storey and divided into two sections. The older section on the right consists of two bays, with stable-type doors and four ventilation slits, topped by a steeply-pitched pantiled roof with reverse-stepped gables. The later section on the left has two stable-type doors and a slate roof with a shallower pitch. This part is included for its group value.
